Caroline White earned her Master’s Degree in Acupuncture from the Santa Barbara College of Oriental Medicine. She is licensed to practice Acupuncture by the California Acupuncture Board. Previously, Caroline worked for over 20 years in the western medical field as a cardiovascular technician and EEG technician specializing in sleep and neurological disorders.
Besides her training in Traditional Asian Medicine, Caroline regularly attends trainings that focus on fertility enhancement, women’s health, cancer treatment support , sports injuries, mood disorders, chronic and acute pain syndromes and Asian Herbal Medicine. Caroline has studied functional medicine and functional blood chemistry analysis with Dr Datis Kharrazian.
Recently, Caroline has begun utilizing organic essential oils on acupuncture points, for their gentle healing properties, which are especially helpful in treating emotional imbalances.
She has also studied with Dr Richard Tan and utilizes his Balance Method and Twelve Magical Points.
As part of her gentle acupuncture treatments, Caroline often incorporates dietary counseling, evaluation of lab tests and aromatherapy into her treatments.
Caroline lives in Santa Barbara and loves all that this magical city has to offer. She especially loves hiking in the foothills, playing the ukulele, long walks on the beach and exploring Santa Barbara’s great restaurants.
